Internals of the Camera
The QuickCam VC use a well documented Sharp LZ2547 CCD and a "Alliace AS4C256K" memory (256Kbytes).
The USB version use a Lucent USS-720 that make the ieee1284<->USB bridge (datasheet is was freely available from Lucent, now i find the datasheet on Intel website).
Another integrated circuit is signed as Orbit 61284A or 61509A (like in the photo).
